3 – Morphologic : “Cleaner Part 2″
My friends Colin and Jared run this little thing called Morphologic Studios out of Miami. They’ve got this huge system of aquariums in their house with all these bizarre kinds of coral and sea creatures that have this incredible natural glow to them. They do a lot of other stuff like projections and videos, but it’s definitely something you’d have to investigate to fully appreciate.
4 – Erik Satie – “Gymnopédie No.”1
Easily one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever heard. It’s so painful but in a way that’s more nostalgic than sorrowful. I just recently made my own rendition of it that I’m pretty excited about. It’ll be on a 7″ we’re doing in the fall.
