1 – Outer Limits Recordings – “$20 Dollar Bill”

“This is an amazing VHS/lo-fi video.  It reminds us of New York cop shows we used to watch when we were kids, and ‘Pugwall’ and just general men-in-permed-wigs greatness.”

2 – How To Dress Well – “Lover’s Start”

“This is a beautiful song from How To Dress Well, and the video complements it perfectly.  We love the blue grading on the film, and the huge expanse of the beach where it was shot.  Plus everyone loves a man in a suit having a breakdown.”

3 – LUCKY! NIKE7UP THIEF IN THE NIGHT MIX

“This is brilliant mainly for its use of pop-culture sampling. There’s a quote from one of the ‘Twilight’ films at the beginning, then Michael J, then Rhianna, all spliced over some of Britney’s videos and footage of her crying in a filmed interview about Justin Timberlake.  It’s compelling and unnerving without being unnecessarily”

About Summer Camp :

Summer Camp on Myspace

“One of the most enduring qualities of music lies in its ability to be transportative – the very best songs can take you, almost instantly, to a specific moment in time, or perhaps a particular location, even evoke a specific emotion. It is an immutable relationship we have with the music we listen to, and it is one which the London duo of Elizabeth Sankey and Jeremy Warmsley, aka Summer Camp realise so perfectly, crafting twinkling, pristine pop gems which sound as though they could have been discovered in a trunk in an attic, glinting and glittering like jewels at the bottom of the sea.”

Young” EP is out on 6 September on CD/ Digital Download. “Round the Moon” is out on 13 September on 7” vinyl.
