Guest Curator – Jeremy Jay selects 3 of his favourite songs :
1 – HIS NAME IS ALIVE : ‘How Ghosts affect Relationships’ (Livonia 4AD 1990)
“I bought this cassette years ago and it had a strong affect on me.
Easily my most favorite record of His name is alive.
I would listen to this a lot, around the same time i was listening to the chelsea girl album by Nico
also, At the time the left side of my headphones didnt work so the first time i heard it, i only heard the right side.”
2 – PAULINE MURRAY Holocaust (1984 12″ single Polestar)
“Pauline’s album with the Invisible Girls is my favorite of hers.
Its completely worn out. This song is from a later single 4 years later that appeared on a single. Its a cover of Holocaust by Big Star, from their third album.”
3 – THE WORLD OF SKIN : ‘Please Remember Me’ (Young God 1990)
“This is another one of my favorite albums. the whole record is beautiful.”
